Game Settings

PROCEDURAL RULES

✓ Participants are not allowed to end a match or restart with different teams.

✓ Restart match will be the option used to play the next match in the best of three.

✓ Participants may choose their preferred controls; Manual, Semi or Assisted before the match starts.

✓ Participants may choose Tactical defending mode or Legacy defending mode before the match starts.

✓ Controllers are provided by the Organizer. However participants are allowed to bring their own.

✓ If a controller is defective, the participant can pause the game and notify the tournament referee.

✓ Once the participant agrees that the problem has been rectified, they are NOT allowed to pause the game a second time.

✓ The tournament referee will determine the final decision regarding the controller's status.

✓ If a participant chooses to play with a defective controller, all end results are valid and final.

✓ No memory cards or saved games are permitted throughout the tournament.

✓ Open teams will be allowed for the tournament.

✓ Legendary teams are NOT allowed.

✓ Both teams of participants may select the same club/country/team.

✓ Teams are allowed to select preset formations before the match begins.

✓ Tactic selection is allowed throughout the whole match.

✓ Once the match has started, Players may not pause the game except in the case of an emergency or a defective controller.

✓ Registered Players always need to be present at the tournament area.

✓ Players will be disqualified if they do not show up after their names have been announced for a maximum of 3 times.

✓ Players will be shown to their designated station and should immediately set-up their game and begin play.

✓ Each Player will have 2 minutes to configure controls, line-ups and settings in accordance with the rules.

✓ Custom packages may not be used, nor anything else that is not available in the in-game pause menu.

✓ Tournament referees will be on site to monitor all game play and record scores for each match.

✓ Players shall be responsible for keeping track of their respective game situation.

✓ Tournament referees will also be monitoring the match situation as closely as possible.

✓ No replays or game interruptions, except for designated pauses to report scores, will be allowed.

✓ No coaching allowed (people in the audience may not advise a participant while playing).

✓ In case of unforeseen circumstances like disconnection, disc error or electricity failure; the scores will remain the same from the point of disconnection.

✓ Players CANNOT pause the match unless the gameplay is stopped or if there's a fault with the controller.

✓ If Players are found to have paused the game intentionally, they may be given a warning or disqualified.

✓ Players will have a 30-second grace period after the pause.

✓ Each Player is allowed two pauses. One Pause per Half.

✓ Any Player who deliberately attempts to sabotage or damage the equipment will be banned from the tournament.

✓ Any Player who attempts to disrupt matches with verbal or physical abuse will be disqualified and may be removed from the venue.

✓ Any Player's refusal to play a match or presenting disruptive behavior will result in forfeit of the match.

✓ All Players must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner, maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor.

✓ Players will refrain from using any vulgar or offensive language.

✓ Abusive behavior, including harassment and threats, physical abuse, fighting or any threatening action is prohibited.

✓ Abuse to game stations, controllers or any tournament equipment is prohibited.

✓ Any action that interferes with play of a game, including purposeful destruction of game station, is prohibited.

✓ The tournament rules are subject to change upon short notice.

✓ In case of any dispute, the tournament referee/organizer's decision is final.

✓ The organizer will not be responsible for any damage, loss or injury caused from participation.

✓ By participating, Players are agreeing to all the above rules of the tournament.

✓ Players must present a valid Qatari ID to claim their prize.

CODE OF CONDUCT

All Players are expected to exhibit good sportsmanship and maintain respect for one another and for Tournament Organizers, and spectators. Players must follow all instructions of the Tournament Organizers and related staff. Players are expected to play at their best at all times within the Tournament and to avoid any behavior inconsistent with the principles of good sportsmanship, honesty, or fair play. Any Player behaving inappropriately, or not competing in compliance with these Official Rules (including the Game Play Rules), as determined by the Tournament Organizers in their sole discretion, may be immediately disqualified from the Circuit or Tournament and forfeit all potential prizes. Further, the tournament organizers reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to ban disqualified Players from any future tournament or event organized by Virtuocity/Team Mana.

Behavior that is considered to be inappropriate and in violation of the Code of Conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following:

✗Interfering with the operation of the tournament, the stream, Team Mana/Virtuocity official accounts, and equipment, or the season/circuit

✗Acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the tournament or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person

✗Engaging in collusion (e.g., any agreement between two [2] or more Players to pre-determine the outcome of a Game or Match)

✗Cheating of any sort through any means

✗Intentionally delaying or slowing gameplay or tampering with gameplay in any other known or unknown manner

✗Offensive, vulgar or obscene User Names, avatars, logos, branding, or gamertags

✗Any form of prejudice or bigotry

✗Engaging in violence or any activity which is deemed in the judgment of the tournament organizers to be immoral, unethical, disgraceful, or contrary to common standards of decency

✗Engaging in any activity that is illegal in the State of Qatar

✗Offering any gift or reward to a player or tournament organizer for assistance designed to provide a competitive advantage

✗Making any modification to the game that has not been disclosed to and authorized by the tournament organizers

✗Intentionally using any in-game bugs or so-called "hacks" to seek an advantage

✗Using any language or wearing any clothing or apparel that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or objectionable

✗Using any tournament facilities, services or equipment provided or made available by the tournament organizers to post, transmit, disseminate or otherwise make available any communications prohibited by this Code of Conduct

✗Taking any action or performing any gesture directed at an opposing player, official or spectator, or inciting any other individuals to do the same, which is insulting, mocking, disruptive or unsportsmanlike

✗Touching or otherwise interfering with lights, cameras, or other production equipment

✗Engaging in any other type of behavior or conduct deemed inappropriate by the tournament organizers in their sole discretion

✗Otherwise violating these Official Rules

Any player who violates the Code of Conduct may be disqualified, and the tournament organizers reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such player to the fullest extent permitted by law.
